Mini, But Mighty Verses
“As each of us has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God” (I Pe 4:10). Each of us is in the position of needing, trusting, being totally dependent on the grace of an Almighty and Loving God. With humble spirits we daily receive help, love, forgiveness, patience, refreshment, hope, etc. So, in constant gratitude let us minister all that grace to one another.
“He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain...” (Re 21:4). Knowing and experiencing that victory Jesus provided by going the way of the cross is a wonderful expectation and hope. By faith we can purpose to suffer for His Cause, so that all death, tears, & mockery will be removed by Him one great day.
“Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear You, which You have prepared for those who take refuge in You, before the sons of men“ (Ps 31:19)! While Jesus’ enemies persecute us, our Lord shows great goodness for those who love Him enough to trust Him. His enemies watch, they are aware of His goodness toward His people. Oh, how very important is our faith in His Way and His Rule!
“Bless Jehovah, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless Jehovah, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits” (Ps 103:1,2). Please read this entire Psalm. His benefits of forgiveness, healing, redemption, glorification, provision, strength, and loving-kindness are unmistakable and irreplaceable. Our dependence on Him calls us to think of His glory and worship Him.
